A World in Bloom really came from playing with water and light — just letting the paint move and do its own thing. I didn’t try to control it too much, and it kind of unfolded on its own, like petals opening when they’re ready. There’s something quite soft and hopeful in it for me… a reminder that not everything needs to be forced — sometimes the most beautiful things happen when you just let it flow and leave everything to chance.
This painting is my floral tribute to my favourite little bloom, the Waterlily.
