Inspired by the timeless allure of the desert and the nostalgic glow of Vegas, which I have visited once, this painting captures the mirage where vast open spaces meet mid-century dreams. In this imagined landscape, I find myself immersed in space and time, transported to a place so far removed from my own reality — the escape I have always dreamed of. I have been particularly influenced by line and form in this series, and Retro Horizon is one of the pieces with which I connect the strongest.
