A trip to Kenya inspired this piece. The red earth there left such a mark on me—everywhere I looked, the deep ochre tones of the land seemed to glow in the heat. I wanted to capture that feeling—the parched ground, the raw beauty, and express my deep connection to Africa. Red Ochre Song is my way of honouring those rich, earthy colours and the emotions they stirred in me. The vast emptiness of the plains lay bare before my eyes, filled only with a mirage of distant warriors, escaping into the horizon with their livestock trailing slowly behind.
PRODUCT INFORMATION
Our standard 400gsm stretched canvas is a finely textured artist-grade cotton substrate which consistently reproduces image details with outstanding clarity and detail.
Stretched Canvas, with no outer frame: Your canvas print will be stretched over wooden stretcher bars with a depth of 38mm. Everything is hand finished by an experienced framing team, to ensure that each corner fold is perfectly smooth and tight.
Framed canvas prints: Our superior framed canvas prints feature a 38mm stretched canvas within a wooden picture frame. The thin frame sits approximately 5mm from the edge of the canvas helping to create a floating border.
